Camera and Clay is a tour through Helen Hooker O’Malley’s artwork, primarily her photography and sculpture. This prolific artist’s work spanned much of the 20th century. The documentary investigation of O’Malley is supported by archival interviews with Helen, her family, fellow artists, and art historians as well as sweeping views of her work throughout. This program seeks to illuminate a uniquely powerful female artist with music, poetry, excerpts from her story, and critical commentary.
