Tackling Pollution in Long Island Sound: Marine Debris

More than 20 years after the collapse of Long Island Sound’s lobstering industry, tens of thousands of derelict lobster traps still lay abandoned at the bottom of the Sound. Join Scott Curatolo-Wagemann (Cornell Cooperative Extension) and Justin Susarchick (The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk) to learn how the Lobster Trap Recovery and Assessment Partnership (LTRAP) is working to get them out. Produced by the Long Island Sound Coastal Watershed Network, this documentary is one of a four-part series focusing on collaborative projects that are reducing pollution in the coastal waters of Long Island Sound.
