Tommy, a young family man down on his luck, reluctantly becomes involved with the mob when he borrows money. Times have been hard, and Tommy is unable to pay back the money he owes. When it comes time for Tommy to pay up, the boss sends his henchman to arrange a meeting at a local diner. He anxiously awaits the collector, when suddenly Scarlet, the dangerous femme fatale, sits down in the booth across from him. Terrified of how the evening will play out, Tommy moves forward carefully, knowing that any move he makes could be his last.
